At the start of the New Testament, Israel is enduring a 400-year silence from God, experiencing hopelessness, shame, sadness, and isolation. Suddenly, the silence is broken by angels speaking and singing of the coming of a Rescuer in the birth of a child. This child will bring a great turning toward hope, peace, joy, and love.
Using select passages from Luke 1-2 and key scenes from The Chosen’s Christmas special “Holy Night” – this four-week sermon series explores the great turning that happened hundreds of years ago on one holy night, with an eye toward how a great turning can happen for us today.
This series will be shown on November 13th, 20th, December 4th, and 11th at 6:00 PM.
